The Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts The Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts (A.E.M.M.A.) boldly states its professed mission as to "resurrect the combat skills, philosophies, and principles of an accomplished European medieval martial artist, and to achieve a state which would be consistent with that of a 15th-century warrior in technology and ideal." Planning to go fully operational later this summer, A.E.M.M.A.'s website is an attractive grid of better things to come -- including discussion forums, a virtual marketplace, an online libary, as well as white papers and reports on ongoing research projects. While not (yet) frequented quite as heavily as other sites with similar missions, the content and contributions appear to be less territorial and egocentric as those you might find elsewhere. A good start! For more information, contact A.E.M.M.A, 401 - 159 Frederick Street, Toronto, ON Canada M5A 4P1; Telephone/Fax: (416)366-1243 and (416)366-7448
